Operations Management Trainee Programme

Since 2012, we have developed our own in-house trainee programme with a strong focus to groom future managers and leaders to match our business needs. This programme offers the trainee the opportunity to go through all key functions of the business including Customer Experience, Integrated Service Centre & Line Service, as well as other supporting functions. The objective is to provide our trainees with solid, fulfilling and in-depth training such as technical skill, people skill and project management experiences. Apart from on-the-job training, we have also designed a mentorship scheme for trainees to ensure professional and proper guidance will be given throughout their career development process. Upon completion of the trainee programme, a typical path of our trainees will be a promotion to a supervisory level position to take up basic management responsibilities.

Internship Programme

The HKBAC Internship Programme offers a comprehensive and thoughtful curriculum that provides interns with hands-on work experience across an expansive range of projects. Role Introduction: 

The position supports the Senior Manager – Customer Experience in driving customer experience, CRM, customer insights and business development initiatives for HKBAC’s premium service offerings. The role helps translate customer feedback, service data and market intelligence into service enhancement initiatives and tailor-made offerings with revenue potential. 

Job Duties:
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager – Customer Experience to drive customer experience strategies, CRM initiatives, service enhancement projects and business development initiatives for premium service offerings.

  • Develop customer insights through feedback analysis, service data review, customer profiling, market intelligence and movement pattern analysis, with particular focus on Mainland Chinese clients and premium service users.

  • Identify customer needs, service gaps, business opportunities and improvement areas across key customer touchpoints, and recommend actions to enhance customer journey, service quality and revenue opportunities.

  • Support the development of tailor-made service offerings, personalised service approaches, upselling opportunities and cross-selling initiatives for key customer segments, including VIP customers, frequent travellers, corporate clients and aircraft operators.

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers, aircraft operators, business partners and internal stakeholders to support long-term customer engagement and service development.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Aviation, Marketing, Communications or related disciplines.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in customer experience, customer relations, account servicing, hospitality, aviation, luxury services, CRM, sales support, business development or related customer-facing functions.

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; fluent Cantonese and native-level Putonghua proficiency

  • Good understanding of Mainland Chinese clients’ preferences, expectations, business etiquette and service habits.

  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Good business sense and analytical capability, with the ability to interpret customer feedback, service data, market information and usage trends.

  • Proactive, detail-minded and well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Job Duties:
  • Act as the on‑duty senior authority for all Line Service and apron operations during assigned shifts

  • Maintain continuous physical presence on the apron to monitor aircraft movements, ramp activities and high‑risk ground handling operations

  • Provide independent operational oversight, separate from frontline task execution, ensuring SOP, SMS and regulatory compliance

  • Oversee and intervene in high‑risk activities including aircraft marshalling, towing/pushback, refuelling coordination, GSE operations and emergency response

  • Serve as the primary escalation and decision‑making point for operational disruptions, safety concerns and incident response

  • Lead on‑shift safety management, including hazard identification, immediate corrective actions and safety briefings

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements of AAHK, CAD and internal HKBAC standards

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (ISC, CEx, SSS) and external parties as required to maintain safe and efficient operations

  • Conduct on‑shift operational audits and follow up on safety observations, non‑compliances and corrective actions

  • Support manpower deployment and shift coordination, without direct embedding in routine frontline task execution

  • Participate in incident investigations, safety reporting and post‑incident reviews as required

Requirements:
  • Diploma or above preferably in Aviation, Aircraft Engineering, Operations or related discipline

Purpose of the Role:

To provide trusted, high-level executive, company secretarial support to the Chief Executive Officer, Senior Director and designated senior executives. The role combines disciplined executive-office coordination, stakeholder communication, technology-enabled transformation and cross-functional execution, helping senior leadership turn priorities into timely, well-governed outcomes.

Job Duties:
  • Provide executive and administrative support, including diary and travel management, correspondence and follow-up of action items.

  • Anticipate priorities, manage competing demands and provide concise briefings so that the CEO and supported senior executives can focus on the highest-value issues.

  • Serve as a professional coordination point between the CEO, designated senior executives, departments and external stakeholders, helping maintain alignment and momentum on agreed priorities.

  • Coordinate Executive Committee, Board meetings and senior management meetings, including schedules, agendas, meeting papers, logistics, minutes and follow-up actions.

  • Administer secure shared folders and digitalize the workflow for Executive Committee and Board meetings, including access control, filing and version control.

  • Coordinate with Board members, shareholders’ offices, internal stakeholders, external legal advisers, company secretarial service providers and other professional advisers as required.

  • Provide company secretarial and corporate governance support, including maintaining minutes, resolutions, statutory registers and corporate records, and coordinating approvals and signatures.

  • Liaise with airport entities, vendors, tenants, clients and other external parties, and support company events and business activities.

  • Act as a digitally capable partner to the executive office by identifying opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort and improve the speed, quality and transparency of management information.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgement when handling sensitive business, governance and personnel matters.

  • Perform other ad hoc duties and assignments as required.

Requirements:
  • Degree holder; relevant experience and a strong willingness to learn are also welcome.

  • At least five years’ experience in executive assistance, business administration, project coordination or a related role.

  • Experience supporting senior leaders, Board meetings or corporate governance is an advantage.

  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, including fluent Putonghua.

Role Introduction:

We keep developing our workplace onto Microsoft 365, AI agent and automation, and we are looking for an IT Support Engineer who wants to be part of that change.

You will be the go-to person for everyday technology across the company — keeping our people and frontline operations running smoothly — while helping them work smarter with Microsoft 365, AI and simple automation. This is a hands-on role, with direct exposure to Intune, Entra ID, AI & Power Platform and digital transformation projects.

Job Duties:
  • Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day IT support — PCs, notebooks, mobile devices, printers and workplace applications.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, user account, access, network and Wi-Fi issues, and follow through until resolved.

  • Support Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Copilot, etc.

  • Assist with device setup, software deployment, endpoint management & cybersecurity using Intune, Entra ID, Intune, AD, XDR, SASE and related tools.

  • Provide first-line support for various business applications, meeting-room systems, digital signage, Cloud, etc.

  • Help colleagues use Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI tools effectively through practical guidance and short training sessions.

  • Work with departments to build and support simple Power Automate flows, Power Apps, or AI agent for application that replace manual work.

  • Log incidents, requests and solutions accurately in the IT service management system and build up our knowledge base for developing AI agent for IT Support.

  • Carry out first-line checks on infrastructure, network and cyber security issues, escalating to the team where needed.

  • Maintain IT inventory, software licence and equipment records.

  • Contribute to proof-of-concept, new function test, implementation, rollout, training, and helping users adopt new IT technology.

  • Provide urgent on-site or remote support outside office hours when reasonably required.

  • Perform ad-hoc IT duties as necessary

Requirements:
  • Higher Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.

  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, desktop support or end-user computing.

  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows PCs, Microsoft 365, mobile devices and common office applications.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, Intune or other endpoint management tools.

  • Basic networking knowledge — IP, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.

  • Good problem-solving and documentation skills, with a customer-focused mindset.

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

  • Self-motivated, willing to learn, and comfortable working as part of a small team.

  • Experience with Copilot Agent Builder, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, PowerShell and other automation tools is an advantage.

Job Duties:
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager in delivering various training programs in the Line Service Department to ensure programs are fit for purpose.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to frontline staff to enhance technical knowledge, ramp safety awareness and required service standards.
  • Conduct orientation sessions, provide on-the-job training for new hires in the department and in-house training and knowledge sharing across departments.
  • Maintain and update all training materials in line with the Standard Operation Procedure and keep employee training records in good order.
  • Deliver on-the-job training and competency assessments directly on the apron, including high-risk tasks such as aircraft marshalling, towing/pushback coordination, GSE operation, and refueling support.
  • Provide real-time coaching and corrective feedback to frontline staff during live operations, reinforcing safety and service standards.
  • Coordinate the pre- and post-training logistics / administrative duties to ensure smooth delivery of training courses and assist in preparing reports for management review regularly.
  • Assist in arranging safety inspection / maintenance and procuring replacement Ground Service Equipment and parts to ensure the equipment is complied with OEM, HKIA recommendations and operational service standards.
  • Assist on audits from external vendors.
  • Support frontline and ramp operations when necessary.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by Superior.
Requirements:
  • High Diploma in Aviation, Training & Development or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in apron/ramp operations, including ground handling, GSE, and fueling support. Training or supervisory experience is an advantage.
  • Holder of valid Hong Kong driving license code 1, 2, and 18 is essential; code 19 is highly desirable.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, attention to detail with strong sense of responsibility.
